Etheredge Rehearsal Dinner
I was so honored when my fellow classmate Charlsie asked me to take photos at her rehearsal dinner. Charlsie and I grew really close throughout our journalism classes, and so it was really exciting to be a part of her big day!
An acoustic sound filled the warehouse walls as the wedding party practiced going down the aisle. I love these warm-colored chandeliers that hung from the ceiling.
My favorite things about taking photos of the Nacrellis is their constant laughter. They're always telling jokes and having a good time.
How cute is this look on Charlsie's face? That's the look of a bride who is excited for her wedding. My favorite part about this photo is her mom — even though she's out of focus in the background, it's so sweet to be able to see how excited she is for her daughter.
Then, at the dinner, I was blown away by the attention to detail put into these place settings. Notice the embroidered napkins — these were only at the table with the bride, goom and their parents, but look how beautiful! The sunflowers also added a nice touch that you don't usually see at weddings.
Writing seating arrangements on a mirror was an excellent way to add depth to the room
Listening to everyone's speeches ended up being the highlight of my evening. I even teared up a bit toward the end.
Overall, I had a great time, and I hope to see more special events in my future as a photographer. It's a great feeling when people make you feel like an important part of their special day.
